Wax Seal Pendant Skeleton Necklace

Handcrafted using the impression of an early 19th century british wax seal. This pendant features a skeleton in it's coffin, long thought to symbolize death, in actuality it is emblematic of life and truth. The skeleton is a pictorial symbol of the latin motto 'memento mori, memento vivere' or 'remember you must die, so remember to live'.
