honored & ecstatic to reveal my t-shirt art for my babes at @tarnishthestore 12 year anniversary!!!
i incorporate my magical practice into every facet of my life and vice versa - so when Nic gave me complete freedom to design a shirt for my fave moto community/shop i wanted the shirts themselves to be apotropaic : wards of protection for the riders who wear them. i drew from iconography of Saint Columbanus (patron saint of motorcyclists & travel) who was often depicted with doves and a radiant haloβ¦and of course gave it a bit of a subversive bend ππ my hand lettering is inspired by classic gothic styling to make our dear Columbanus feel at home βͺοΈ
