Refund policy
In Store Purchases:
In store purchases can be brought back for exchange or store credit within 14 days. Sale items and helmet purchases are final sale. Any ONLINE purchases returned in store will only be for EXCHANGE or STORE CREDIT.
Online Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Log on to your customer account to start the return process or click here.
- Returns accepted for 14 days
- Customer provides return shipping
- 5% restocking fee
- Final sale items: Sale items, vintage items and helmets are not eligible for return.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, if approved, your refund (minus the restocking fee) will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3 days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift code will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping
To return your product, mail your package to: Tarnish, 1948 W. Chicago Ave., Chicago IL 60622, United States
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
When shipping an item, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Cancelling an Order
There will be a 4% restocking fee on all orders placed, then cancelled due to customer reasons.
International Returns
We cannot accept international returns. Any international order refused will be refunded minus the cost of shipping and return shipping along with any custom fees incurred.
